The Pokémon - Celebration Journey puzzle from German manufacturer Ravensburger is one of the largest jigsaw puzzles ever made – 40,320 pieces split across ten individual boxes that combine into one continuous panoramic image. It follows the same record-scale format as Ravensburger's earlier 40,320-piece Disney edition.

The puzzle is made up of ten panels, each depicting a different Pokémon world – misty forests, sunlit shores, glittering caves, flower gardens and enchanted night scenes – all blending seamlessly into one another. Hundreds of Pokémon from across the generations appear throughout, Pikachu among them, along with plenty of hidden details to spot along the way.

Once assembled, the finished puzzle measures 190 × 680 cm – nearly seven metres long. You'll need a large table, floor space or a dedicated puzzle mat, and given the piece count this is a project that takes weeks or months rather than days. Best suited to experienced puzzlers and collectors, or as a shared project with family or friends.

Ravensburger has been making puzzles in Europe since 1891 and is known for precise piece-cutting and sturdy, thick board. Once finished, you can fix the puzzle with dedicated puzzle glue and frame it as a striking piece of wall art.
